Rare MSN symbols

One of the main reasons people come to this site is to find MSN symbols that they can use in their chats, statuses and names. We’ve listed hundreds of them through the months, but I thought it would be fun to go back through them and try to find the rarest and coolest symbols that you can add to your accounts. Just cut and paste them from here and be the nevy of your chat buddies!

msn symbols

Find them below – copy and paste into your MSN names and chats and have fun!

Rare MSN symbols

☢ – radioactive sign

One of the coolest looking alt characters, the radioactive or nuclear symbol is something that you can paste into your status and show everyone that you’re about to blow up!

☣ – biohazard sign

Is someone talking a lot of nuclear waste? Use the biohazard symbol to show them that you think that their words are hazardous.

☯ – ying yang symbol

Everyone wants tranquility and peace in their life, and with the ying yang msn symbol you can show everyone that you’re feng shui is much better than theirs.

☮ – ban the bomb peace sign

Since the 1960s people have been trying to ban nuclear weapons from the earth, and they still haven’t managed to. Now you can add this symbol to your MSN name and join the fight against mutually assured destruction!

♥ – black heart symbol

A rare symbol which can be used to show you love someone – be it friends, family or lovers. The black heart msn symbol also is useful for people who talk about playing card suits.

☜ – pointing finger symbol

Want to point to your MSN name or status? Use this pointing finger to show everyone what you’re talking about! It’s very cool!

☂ – umbrella

Autumn is here, and with it the pouring rain. Why not protect yourself from the rain with this umbrella symbol? You might also want to protect yourself from someone’s words…

☃ – snowman

Winter is around the corner, and one of the rare MSN symbols is the snowman! You can copy and paste him directly into your status (no need for an emoticon) and show everyone you’re ready for the cold season!

☏ – telephone

Call me! Put the telephone symbol into your MSN name if you’ve lost your mobile and need people to send you numbers, or even if you have a business number that you want to highlight.

✄ – scissors

Running with scissors is dangerous, but scissors in your MSN name are fine! Cut here!

These are some of the rarest and also my favourite MSN symbols, which ones do you like?

Write your MSN name in circles

One of the coolest new crazes on MSN is to have your name in circles! It looks like some sort of amazing emoticon or character, but actually it’s just a special alphabet that you can find inside windows – and each letter is encLose Weight Exercise/”>Lose Weight Exercised in a circle! Cool right?

msn name in circles

If you want to have your name in circles on MSN, you can copy and paste them from here. You can say anything you want! But it doesn’t stop there. Writing your each letter of your name in circles can also be done and then copied into your Facebook status, MSN status or onto your Myspace page!

So how can you write these letters with circles around them? Here they are:

Write your MSN name in circles

ⓐⓑⓒⓓⓔⓕⓖⓗⓘⓙⓚⓛⓜⓝⓞⓟⓠⓡⓢⓣⓤⓥⓦⓧⓨⓩ

But there’s more! Sometimes, you just want to tell people that you are the best – the coolest – the funniest….you want them to know that you’re number one! So we should include all of the numbers in circles too! Here are how you write the numbers with rings around them:

①②③④⑤⑥⑦⑧⑨⑩

Try copying these into Microsoft Word too – you can use them in presentations or documents to send to people. Some browsers can’t render them properly (you will see squares instead) but don’t worry! If you copy them into your MSN status or into Word (as I said) you will see the symbols show up correctly!

It even includes the number 10! I can’t believe they crammed that into the circle. Anyway, if you have any more cool alphabets or ways of writing on MSN, Facebook or Myspace – let us know in the comments!

How do you write upside down on Facebook or MSN?

I saw my friend write something upside down in his Facebook status one day, and I was amazed by how cool it looked. I then signed onto MSN and he also had written upside down there too! I asked him “how do you write upside down in your Facebook status?” and he replied that it was a complete secret! He wouldn’t tell me, so I Decided to do some research…

write upside down

Some people said that you can use upside down text generators to write your messages, but this wasn’t really useful because sometimes I want to write messages offline when I can’t use the internet, and I have a very bad memory for remembering websites (especially annoying ones where I have to copy and paste my writing into their little boxes). I thought there must be a solution…

After googling and trying to find the secret of upside down text, I noticed that because I had seen a few examples, I could probably recreate the upside down alphabet myself (and therefore be able to write ANYTHING I wanted just by copy and pasting the letters into words). It took a while, but finally I have created a full upside down font alphabet to share with you today! That means that now you can write in your Facebook chat, MSN status, Yahoo messenger, Myspace page or on your website by using these upside down characters. Inverted text is obviously not the language of the future, but you can use it to make some pretty cool messages in your Facebook status too. Here is the list:

How do you write upside down on Facebook or MSN?

˙ ‘ ¿ , ؛ „ ‾ ⅋ ¡
z ʎ x ʍ ʌ n ʇ s ɹ b d o u ɯ ʃ ʞ ɾ ı ɥ ƃ ɟ ǝ p ɔ q ɐ
6 8 Ɫ 9 5 ᔭ Ɛ 2 1 0

Of course, it is the alphabet (backwards). Some of you will only be able to see blocks (squares), but trust me, as soon as you copy and paste these letters into your MSN name or Facebook status update they will become letters (or at least, other people will be able to read them as letters!). If you can’t read them clearly, well they are a -> z upside down – so you can count the letters from the right hand side to find the ones you want.

I will use this list to make some funny Facebook statuses! What about you?
